A Workshop for Interior Designers Ready to Scale Without Losing Their Soul
Growing a design firm isn’t just about landing bigger projects or hiring more people. It’s about building an internal culture strong enough to hold that growth...creatively, financially, and emotionally.
In this interactive workshop, Holly Freres, Principal of JHL Design, shares practical lessons from building a multi-market design studio. She will focus on how intentional culture becomes the foundation for sustainable growth.
This session is designed for small but ambitious design firms who are beginning to hire, delegate, and think bigger, especially interior designers with small teams (or preparing to hire), studio owners feeling the tension between creativity and growth, designers who want to scale thoughtfully, not chaotically, and founders who care deeply about people, process, and long term sustainability.

Signed copies of HOMEDEUS will be available, with Victor on hand throughout the evening to meet guests and share a few behind the scenes notes on how the story came to life. Centered on creativity, the changing landscape of design, and the growing rarity of truly fine craftsmanship, the discussion brings together two distinct voices with a shared respect for the human hand behind the work.
Moderated by Scott Burdick, the conversation will explore how true craftsmanship is becoming increasingly rare, how studios and makers are adapting to shifting tastes and timelines, and why craft, materials, and the people who know how to work with them are becoming more valuable than ever.

Experience outdoor living through the lens of The Green Room Landscape Architecture. This intimate and exclusive three homes tour is intentionally limited, designed for those who want time to look closely, experience materiality and plants and feel how a landscape changes the way a home is lived in.
Known for landscapes that feel both modern and attuned to the desert, The Green Room begins each project with the site, asking how materials such as stone, soil, plants, and form can express the character of a place. Across three properties, you’ll see a broad range of their work, from sculptural moments to quiet planted corridors.
This is a self guided tour. A representative from The Green Room will be at each home to talk to the process and answer any questions.
NOTES: Entry bracelet is required for entry. Please check-in at any of the homes with your name/ticket for bracelet. This tour focuses on the outdoor living spaces though two of the homes have interior tour access. Please wear appropriate footwear.

Collected Assembly brings together designers, artists, and tastemakers for a one-night market during Desert Design Week, centered on the idea that the most memorable spaces are shaped by the objects we collect over time.
Hosted at Galerie Town, a showroom where beautiful pieces offer instant gratification straight off the floor, the evening features furnishings, vintage pieces, and contemporary objects sourced from artisans around the world.
For this evening, a group of designers will curate pieces they love—objects discovered through travel, vintage finds, artisan collaborations, and works created with artists and makers. Handpicked items from Jules Marjeaux Interiors, Casa De Atelier and more… will appear as pop-ups throughout the showroom, offering guests the opportunity to discover new perspectives and unexpected finds.
Curated works by Desert Design Week artists Bettina Chow, Nik Nik, Anjuli More, and Scott Dunbar will also be part of the assembly, bringing together art and objects in a design-led setting.
Throughout the evening, a DJ will create a listening experience that sets the atmosphere for the night, making Collected Assembly as much about gathering and conversation as it is about collecting.

Presented for one night during Desert Design Week, WILD ECHOES gathers a distinct group of emerging artists whose practices extend beyond the traditional narratives of the American West. The exhibition brings together voices shaped by varied cities, layered histories, and distinct regional landscapes. These artists create work that reflects movement, memory, and exploration. Set within the expansiveness of the desert, the pieces bridge density and openness, refinement and rawness, intimacy and scale.
Joining this conversation is Kaitlyn Wolfe, whose award winning studio blends organic, modern design with intentional living to create thoughtful, engaging spaces. Through her iconic interior design studio, she transforms residential and commercial spaces, balancing functionality with design.
You will see brutalist pieces from GROUND FLOOR, Kaitlyn Wolfe’s boutique furniture and lighting line, where each collectible object combines art and utility, designed for intentional living and crafted locally in Phoenix.
Vintage finds and contemporary homewares from SHOP MY WAREHOUSE will also be featured, curated by Kaitlyn Wolfe from her global travels and selected for those who value character, craftsmanship, and objects with a story.

ATTENTION IS EARNED
The difference between being seen and being remembered.
Beautiful content is everywhere. The real question is, why does some of it lead to real business and some of it gets ignored?
Join us for a conversation with Ashley Murphy, CMO of Rare Beauty. As the marketing leader behind one of the most culturally relevant brands today, she has built attention through clarity and conviction, rather than noise.
This session is designed for interior designers, architects, builders, and creative founders, to help you navigate a crowded market and the constant pressure to do more. Together, we’ll explore what actually drives visibility across marketing and social platforms, what builds momentum over time, and how to focus your efforts without burning out.
Seating is limited to keep the conversation intimate, with space for your questions.
