An Immersive Dinner Experience at KUZA

HOUSE OF FORM

House of Form is a concept-heavy interior design studio based in Phoenix, Arizona, with projects around the world. They are committed to using only one crucial element as inspiration - you. Whether a restaurant, bar, hotel, retail space, or office - every space they artfully design is a physical representation of your favorite travels, cherished memories, and what makes you, you.

They seek to design that which does not already exist - to create and be inspired by life’s simplest pleasures. Their mission revolves around crafting an accessible form of luxury, and an intangible vibe that's ethereal and elusive, all achieved through the medium of impeccable interior design. It's their belief that transformative design possesses the power to change lives, and this belief is intertwined in everything they do.

HOUSE OF FORM

KUZA is a Japanese restaurant built around contrast, balancing restraint with expression through a narrative centered on duality. Inspired by the Anesan women in Japan’s Yakuza world, the concept explores the shift from a composed, refined daytime experience to a more layered atmosphere that unfolds throughout the evening. Lighting, materiality, and pattern create subtle reveals across the space, while distinct dining moments, from the sushi counter and robata grill to private dining, are connected through a cohesive design language. Key features include a glass-block entry, a slatted bar with illuminated reveals, layered materials, and an entry mural that introduces the Anesan narrative from the moment guests arrive.
